The Muppets Go Gaga?

More details are starting to emerge about “The Greatest Muppet Movie of all Time“. According to hollywoodlife.com, Miss Piggy will be living an indulgent lifestyle and art-sy in Europe, modelled upon a certain musical superstar. “Miss Piggy ends up becoming like a Lady Gaga-esque character living in Europe!” While “Kermit ends up being destitute and the main characters find him living in squalor”.

HolywoodLife also report that plans are in place to try and nab some top celebrity’s to cameo in the film, in a telethon theme, where celebrities want to help save the studios.

Jason cast in “Bad Teacher”

It has been reported that Jason has been cast in comedy film Bad Teacher, which is set to star Cameron Diaz. Jason has been cast in the supporting role of the school’s gym teacher.

The film centres around Diaz’s character an obnoxious bad mouthed teacher who gets dumped by her boyfriend and proceeds to go after the school’s best teacher who is already in a relationship with a fellow colleague.

The film has been written by Lee Eisenberg (The Office, Year One) & Gene Stupnitsky (The Office, Year One) and will be directed by Jake Kasdan (Freaks & Geeks & Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story). Other actors attached to the film include Lucy Punch as Diaz’s rival Amy and John Michael Higgins as the school principle. The male lead has not been cast yet. It had been rumoured that Jason and Bradley Cooper were both competing for a role on this film, whether it was as the school gym teacher is unknown.

Filming begins in late spring and the film is scheduled for a 2012 release.

Sorry for the lack of updates over the past few days, but we got a new dog on Saturday and I’ve been pretty busy him getting him settled into the house! Hopefully things have settled now.

Gulliver’s Travels Filming Candids (May 2009)

Jason to appear at the 2010 WGA Awards’ West Coast ceremony?

Accoding to a WGA press release, Jason will be appearing with Judd Apatow at the 2010 Writers Guild Awards’ West Coast ceremony. He will be a presenter with Apatow for the show which is taking place this Saturday, February 20th.
