Last night’s episode of How I Met Your Mother was a repeat of The Playbook. Since we don’t have captures of that episode I have added them for you to enjoy. Remember that there is no episode of How I Met Your Mother next Monday, but an all new episode airs in two weeks (Read the press release for that here).

Not much to update today in Jason news, so I have added screen captures from episode 2.01 of How I Met Your Mother.

I have made a page on the site listing all the fake twitter accounts. DON’T BE FOOLED! Jason has said many times that he doesn’t have a twitter account, and if he ever chooses to get one, I’m sure we’ll find out via the many official twitters, HIMYM production team, Ally Hannigan, NPH etc.

Rush drummer Neil Peart was recently intervied and in the interview he took time to talk about Rush’s appearance in 2009 comedy I Love You, Man.

Rush loved ‘I Love You Man’

Rush fans who watched the 2009 comedy I Love You Man were thrilled when the Toronto prog-rock trio turned up to play themselves during a concert scene in the movie featuring lead actors Paul Rudd and Jason Segel as Rush superfans going nuts in the audience.

Turns out, it was fun for Rush too.

“Oh, we killed ourselves because those two guys are so funny,” drummer Neil Peart told QMI Agency leading up to Rush’s induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Sunday night in Toronto. “When we filmed our sequence for example they did take after take improvising, getting the two of them out in the crowd in front of us, getting more and more outrageous and we were supposed to be a serious rock band and we’re cracking up, trying to hold it.”

Peart says he, bassist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson also got a kick outta the film’s “slappa da bass” catchphrase uttered by Rudd’s character as he comically played air bass along to a Rush song in an earlier scene in the movie.

“They showed us that scene the day we shot — slappa da bass — yeah, very funny, very great,” Peart said. “In fact, I met a guy in his 20s a few weeks ago, he didn’t recognize me, and it gradually came up what I did and he said, ‘You’re in that movie!’ And that’s all he knew about me!”

According to Filmofilia.com Gulliver’s Travels will be released in 3D. 3D has been a pretty big buzz word for films over the past few months with Alice in Wonderland and Avatar having 3D screenings and it seems like every other film this year will have some sort of 3D aspect. The 3rd Narnia film and Harry Potter among others will all have 3D showings. I can see how Gulliver’s Travels lends itself to being shown in 3D, I just hope they don’t mess it up because the film was originally filmed flat and is to be converted to 3D during post-production.
